Mine works perfectly in all weather conditions. I think it only went out a couple times in very severe wind. Even then, it was only for a short time. I love my satellite way better than our digital cable we had. Plus you get Sirius radio along with it. Seems like a much better selection compared to Comcast's DMX channels. The only people I know with Comcast digital cable TV complain about pixalization. Their signal looks worse than I've ever had with my DirecTV.
