Well, I finally did the first mod to my 05 Taurus!

Gen4 Taurus Sedans wernt equipped with Power antenna appearently, but ebay + some junkyard time, I fitted my Taurus with a Power antenna

With it down...

With it up!

Really looks great on my car, had to do some special fitting and drilling, but it's all worth it to see my antenna go nice and snug down inside a safe housing when it's not being used. Gives my car that luxurious look too

Spent only $35 for the antenna, then at a junkyard nothing for the harness, Took forever to find a Taurus/Sable wagon, ripped it out of that. Looks damn sexy though!

(For those interested in howto do it, I made a howto on another forum, PM me for link)

I just recentley replaced the mast nn my antenna. Its such a nice feature when its working properly. Something you should consider is installing a up/down switch. Its nice if your listening to CD's and want the antenna down, and its even better in the winter if the antenna gets frozen over, just turn it off to make sure it doesnt break itself trying to force through the ice... Im planning on adding a switch any time now...

Looks good on your Taurus
