Maybe this Rock Box stuff will make sense to you. I haven't read into it enough to do me any good yet. Also rumored there is a firmware upgrade due out by Sandisk soon.
All the reviews I read loved it so and this is the same price my Fiance paid for her 512mb samsung about 2 months ago!
