Well I made by purchase. I got the Sandish E260 from Office Depot. It was $199 on sale, I got them to price match Costco for $189, they also price matched a Staples coupon for $20, then mail in rebates of $15 and $35.

$189 x 7.5% tax $14.25
-$15
-$35
-$20
$133.25 total, not bad for a nice little MP3 player with video and FM tuner. I already loaded Entourage and 16 blocks on to it, along with a bunch of MP3's and photos of the 3 boys.

This is more info on said player,

Sweet, glad you got the deal before it expired!! I haven't even opened mine yet, but hopefully will have time today!

Here is another interesting site for reviews and such. Seeing as I know you are the hardware/ software hacker type Maybe this Rock Box stuff will make sense to you. I haven't read into it enough to do me any good yet. Also rumored there is a firmware upgrade due out by Sandisk soon.

All the reviews I read loved it so and this is the same price my Fiance paid for her 512mb samsung about 2 months ago!
