meh if you can buy crown vics with the badge already on there and drive around, I don't see the difference. Heck, I see an old couple driving their crown vic around town, all black, has the wheels, etc and the badge of course. No way they're police either. They're ancient. heh

There's a retired crown vic that someone at one of the dorms drives. It's still got the rims, police interceptor badges, antennas, radio on the tranny tunnel, spotlight outside the A-pillar, and the ramming guard on the front bumper. If anyone's impersonating a police officer, it's him

hahah good one Marty!
car looks super clean as always too.
EDIT: i have a state police plate, real plate, i have been using for a few years now. not to hijack, but i have actually gotten the thumbs up from a couple motorcycle cops and waves from highway patrol/state police; frequently people ask me if i am a police officer too. long of the short i have NEVER been pulled over, thought someone would ask about the plate, but it never happend. not to mention i was pulled over once and a cop looked directly at it and said NOTHING.

While impersonating a police officer is illegal, I'm pretty sure impersonating a police car is not. (I wouldn't go speeding down the street w/ a red light flashing in the windshield or grill though!)
Car looks sweet. I love the wheels.
re the antennas: Are you a HAM radio operator?

Something doesn't add up...
I think the rule about impersonating a police car lies in the lights. I'm pretty sure only firefighters can have the blue lights on their cars, and police/ambulences have blue/red. So you could probably get away with the new clear lens lights with the LED bulbs, and most likely yellow would be okay.

Its not remotely close to 'impersonating a police officer.' Its a package available on cars. Now, if he had lights, stickers, etc then yes.
In my experience, I had a similar setup on my black SHO with a PI badge on it and got pulled over by a Ohio State Trooper, he questioned me on where I got the car, etc. Finally, I asked him why, and he had thought I had bought the car at a police auction.
