i got an 89 Suzuki GS500 sitting in the garage you can have for the price of the tires i put on it!





but then you also have to finish putting it together!

Good engine, hard to kill it. Like a Contour keep the oil as high as you can without it blowing or burning out. Check the valves.

i need to get the bike and see how much assembly is really needed. i'm hoping to piece it all back together over this long weekend. i wish i weren't traveling for business this week!

all that is needed for assembly is install the new fork seals, put the wheels back on, mount the tank, charge the battery, and fire it up.

the tires are brand new Metzlers, the battery was new 2 years ago.
it does run, i ran it right after i bought it.
when i bought it the top half of the motor was apart, put it together and hung a temparary tank and it fired right up.

i'm bidding on a Clymer's manual on eBay. I heard those are the best for motorcycles.

any idea how to replace the fork seals. (i'm a NOOOOOB!)

it might be a clymers..or its a haynes, i forget.
