so last week i went to the local VW/Audi dealer to pick up some A6 side markers. after talking to the guy, he asked me for the vin number of my audi. i dont drive/own and audi so i didnt have a vin
he told me that he couldnt sell me the part if i didnt have the car...stupid concept, i know
so heres my problem. there isnt another vw/audi dealer around here for a while so i wanted to know where i could get some online or someplace.
i searched (CEG and the internet) and couldnt find a listing for the "side marker" and was wondering if anyone knew of a part sourse that has these parts i could order from online?

Certain dealerships will require the VIN no matter what. No VIN, no part.
Happened to my friend. He needed a certain part for his engine swap, but couldn't provide his VIN otherwise the part would not show up. He had to go online and ask for another forum members VIN.
Crazy.

Just find any Audi A6 on Ebay, and use the listed VIN.

Dont drive an audi so you cant have the side markers... Psh I had no problem getting mine, guy sounded like a d-bag

i got audi A4 clear side markers no problem. Sounds like this guy hates his job.
