I do agree that saying essentially "you don't agree with me therefore you like Hitler" shows a rather profound lack of any good point whatsoever.
The point of my Hitler comment was to say, that in some terms, war does prove who is 'right.' If Hitler and the Axis powers would have won WWII, in essence, it would have made them 'right.' Wars are typically put in a Good v Evil type of context. Is 'evil' ever right? Is 'good' ever bad? Thats the whole point of the comment I made. For the majority of our country's involvement in conflicts we have been on the 'good' side from a world's perspective / benefit, whether that's seen now, or from 20 years from now.
