It all depends if you are planning on being there for a long time or not. My dad has no problem with it but I have a friend who hates working PT.

My dad used to drive Feder but now he moves around trailers in the yard. Lets just say about $40 bucks an hour isnt too bad for that and he gets about 2 hrs of overtime pay a day.


getting to this level will take a LONG time. that is one of the sweetest positions but its seniority and will take forever. turnover for loading/unloading is pretty high. its a crappy job with great benefits and should pay $10 minimum to retain people but what do i know. as a loader/unloader you might be able to start doing some saturday air driving to get some experience driving if u have any desire to become a ft package driver
