You should be fine buffing later. Just be cautious of any particles or debris that may have fallen on the surface of areas that need to be buffed.
You do not apply a sealant over a carnauba. Never. IF you use a carnauba, always over the sealant. A sealant alone is sufficient and you can layer it as many times as you would like.
