Hello
I had the right side wheel bearing replaced awhile ago . I was told that the left side was okay . Should they both be done at the same time? If one is worn out shouldn't the other one be ? Thanks

It's not mandatory, but i would replace them both. Why not? @ around $40 a piece for parts, it's a good idea.

Did on my mom's taurus. One went, didn't replace the other one, within 500 miles the other went!. Better to do them both at once.

I had to have two replaced on my tour' driver side front, passenger side rear. replaced them, and the others never gave me problems 30K miles later.

I have replaced numerous bearings on one side only and the other side never followed shortly thereafter.

There's no logical need to replace these parts in pairs. Replace the bearings as they fail.

Yeah I just replaced my left front wheel bearing. Still riding on the stock right (knocking on wood).

My drivers side just crapped out last week. It got really loud the past 2 days.

I have 2 new wheel bearings I bought a while back, just gotta find time to get the car into the shop, which can be a pain.
