so i reset my 'puter yesterday and took the SVT for a spin... HOLY COW!! i need to get a chip at this point, i don't remember hitting the rev-limiter so many times in one day! my car kept on pulling and felt like i could goto 7500rpm with no issues...
just so you guys know - i was the guinea pig, spent $180 getting a new resonator installed...
so the part number for an SVT it the
Edelbrock RPM 5542 offset/offset Performance Muffler - it's ~$100 online, sounds good - no rasp just more "presence" inside and out - you can definitely tell it's no longer "stock"
one of you locals will have to hear my new setup...
