I'm installing a system for a co-worker in her 2004 Galant Automatic and I just looked over the car briefly before tearing into it.. I have never seen a firewall this solid! I can't find a gromet or access hole ANYWHERE for the 4ga power wire. Theres a perfect place to drill but she is really hesitant to have me drill in her vehicle.. Anybody ever install on one of these and know of an option of where to run the wire?

You could try Crutchfield? I know they aren't the greatest, but I've always been a big fan of their install sheets. Don't know if they'd help (assuming you didn't buy it from them), but it's just a phonecall, the worst they can say is "no" , or "Huh?? "

I called my buddy who owns one of the biggest shops in Detroit and he told me they just typically drill and put in a gromet.. So I guess I'll have to sneak a drill out to the parking lot

Audiotrends in Eastpointe on Gratiot. I used to do a ton of buisness with them and became good friends with the owner Simon.

seriously, if she wants you to install something for her tell her to let you do it you're way. You shouldn thave to sneak something anywares. Its a free install, she asked you to do it now if she asked then she needs to trust.
I install about 5-10 Audio setups a week. I do them for free for high school students, (im 17) now when they cometo me goign "Dude! i hear ur the best wanna hook up my system and how much?" I say free then they show up and are liek you knwo what ur doing? 500 times through out the process then there like trying to tell me how to do something. And I explain to them that if they came to me wanting my help just sit back and trust me cuz if you wanna question me then go have a 50 dollar installer do it.
Explain to her you are doing it the right way and to trust you cuz its a free job.
Sorry had to type something. Personal probs.
