I would suggest using a very small drill bit and drilling holes through 3-4 of the tabs and using fine wire or small zip ties to hold it in place.

metal clips - yah right! used some ducttape and some silicone! i'm serious! doh! my own damn fault
but i got my Edelbrock RPM Resonator installed today - woohoo! what a difference in sound!!!!
