7m is basicly a 6m with diffrent head lol it uses the same crank some early years as the 6m everythings diffrent in the design bore stroke water jackets oil passages head design intake design its a totaly diffrent designed motor i dont know much about the 1jz but i know they are diffrent from us 7m guys :P 1jz was a much better thought out motor 7m was designed and built in about 8 months lol
