i don't get what you're saying when you mentioned that supra.. you said 'I was thinking about this supra" as if they said it was 1,128FWHP..

I don't get why you posted anything about it

Ok, last post in this thread and I'm done.

Title of this thread is not far off from the other title. High HP, expensive Supra. I thought I was posting about the other one. I didn't remember the details such as pricing or actual dynoed HP.

When you said for 55k you can get a 600RWHP Supra, I thought you were stating the obvious, meaning the car was already 600 HP and you just said it again.

I then realized I was thinking of the wrong car, and corrected myself. End of story. Get it?

Third the rings did NOT leak and 55k for that car if it was babied its whole life is a lil high yes but its very much worth it.

KTHXBYE

Yeah you are right about the 1JZ, hard to believe I forgot about it being that I had one. However they both came after the 7M. Therefore the M proceeded the JZ even if they are different motor groups, they are still based on the same straight 6 design. That was my line of thinking.

I still say it's not worth 55k even if it was babied. For that much it should have decent mods done to it, not stock.
I'd rather have this one. web page
It's 4 years older but the miles are close, however it has a mod list that should balance out a bit of the age difference. Buy it now for 36,500. The dealership may get 55k for that one though. After all a car is worth only what someone will pay for it.

yes but see stock 98 white targa top 6 speed thats babied with 52k miles IS RARE meaning it is very much worth it if i had the money id buy it too for the sheer fact that its a peice of history you know why i wouldnt buy a car with mods? because then you know forsure its had its ass kicked so i would buy that because of the cleaness and the fact that it will run forever if you keep it matinced how it is i mean it is a toyota

the 7m and the 2jz are 2 totaly diffrent designs the only thing the same is the fact they are 6 cly inlines and 3 litres

did you swap the 1jz in? and in what car did you have it?

I think you'd have to have quite the hard-on for Supras to buy that car, not much value there IMO.
