3M polish is better and I use it, but once you get a few coats of Z2 on it, the 3M SMR will rub the Zaino off and you'll have to start over in those spots. Just a caution. Either way will look great after one coat. It's the 2 month down the road issue I see when you have really light swirl marks and a coat or two of Z5 would be enough.
