uh, how about "not allowed to use in public"? sounds pretty reasonable to me. and for those arguing the "well what about the kids!!!". parents who use any kind of drug around their kids is pretty foolish, and bad parenting IMO. I wouldn't recommend getting plastered at a bar and coming home to little tommy, who just wet himself, and daddy throws a big temper tantrum, but parents do it all the time.

and if someone lights a joint around you, and it bothers you, remove yourself from the situation, just like an asthmatic would leave if someone was smoking cigarettes around you.

everyone can have their own opinions on this issue, but don't start grasping at straws just to shut someone else down. I personally don't approve of people getting so drunk they black out, or go streaking, or kill someone and have no recollection of it the next morning, but I'm not trying to ban alcohol. people start drinking too much, I'm leaving because things will get out of hand. my friend is driving me around and he sparks a joint? I'll take a cab home, thank you.

it all comes down to responsibility and self control. many Americans don't have either of these qualities, at least not enough of it, but you can't let that restrict people. you have to give them the benefit of the doubt, and if they screw up, they go to jail, that's been a pretty common theme in America.

oh yea, and to the individual doing the whole "I'm trying to bring this to the moderator's attention!!!". we have a "report to moderator" button, it works pretty well from what I understand.
