And what reason is that?
-Because it has negative effects on health? (so do cigs, booze and even many kinds of food that are all legal)
-Because it impairs judgement? (alcohol does this a lot worse and is still legal, many other things do like low blood sugar and not enough sleep, but are there laws against that?)
The only real reason I can think of is that it isn't socially accepted in our puritan based, society whereas alcohol is.
