And the problem is whenever this topic is brought up, the only example people can imagine of a person who smokes weed is the person who abuses it. Abusing any substance, be it controlled or over the counter, is stupid and leads to bad things. A person who can control their smoking (or drinking, or sex, or whatever vice/habit you want) is no worse off than a completely sober person.
