Hi,
I just had my '95 2.5L MTX Mystique looked at to diagnose a vibration in the front drivetrain. It was identified to be a hangar bearing that holds the passenger-side axle in place. The only source the garage has for the part is Ford, and they sell the bearing with a new axle. Cost for the parts is $500CAD..

Has anybody else dealt with this repair? Is the bearing actually only available as part of the axle, or can it be replaced individually? Is there a source for the part that may be less expensive?
