Thanks for the crossfeed suggestion. That is what i was thinking but didn't know the terminolgy. I was going to start at the headlight switch since that gets turned on and off all the time and then get to the ignition.
Is it possible that maybe something is worn in the ignition or headlight switch itself and allowing power to jump? If that is all possible.
