That's real old news.
That was going to be the case back in 2004 when they had a bit of a falling out but Disney bought Pixar several months back.

Tate (5) and I went to see it on Saturday. LOVED IT!
You know the McDonald's Happy Meal toys are the cars from the movie, right? We got Lightning yesterday, my kids were so excited! We also have Sally and Mater. I guess I'll be having Happy Meals for lunch for the next little while.
I really like the Pixar movies. They are really well written, animated, etc. They are just fun and have a good message. I liked what it had to say about the Interstates and the old roads. When I was a kid (1970's) we used to drive to visit my Grandma in Central Utah. (150 miles away). The highway used to go through a lot of the smaller towns, including Nephi. There was this really good burger/ malt etc. shop called Frostee-Freeze. That was always a fun stop and reward for us. Now the highway bypasses towns like that. Now what used to be a 3 hour drive is a 2 hour drive (or so). But it's kind of a shame.
I liked the message at the end of the final race... I loved the little VW flies, the VW Buses soul patch, so many details.
I thought I saw a Contour rear end for half a second but I'm not sure.
LOVED IT ! 4 thumbs up!

I haven't seen the movie but saw this on a poster ad. Did anybody else notice the main cars (dont know the name) sponsor? Rusty's bumper ointment, "rear end formula" Is this supposed to be another one of Disney's sexual innuendos?

Haven't seen the movie yet but have been playing the ps2 game. My girlfriend likes video games but plays at like an 8 year olds level so this game is good for her. Has all the proper voice overs too. Pretty fun.

No. It was "Medicated bumper ointment". But I've read people who are trying to interpret it as a sexual inuendo. Is diaper rash ointment a sexual inuendo?
The only other problem that some people may try to argue is the fact that early in the movie, McQueen races a train and crosses it just in time.
Good thing my daughter knows to listen to her parents and not some cartoon.

Kelloggs cereal has them also, only smaller than the McDonalds toys. The actual toys sold at the stores are metal and much better, though.

Yeah, the train racing scene gave a little pause, too. Good thing my kids won't be driving for a few years!
Overall, I thought it was a good movie with a lot of gags for "enthusiasts" to enjoy. I was afraid they might dumb it down too much. Evidence that they didn't was that my Wife (the "un-enthusiast") thought it was just OK.
Ebert gave it 3 stars out of 4, and I'd have to agree, if Incredibles is a 4 star. The story here is not as good as Incredibles, and a bit used (see, "Doc Hollywood"), but the execution and attention to detail are incredible. (It's a much better movie than Doc Hollywood.)
Larry TCG is great. He wasn't allowed to say "Git 'er Done," ever. Not even once.
Function before fashion.
