It was a great movie. I've been waiting for it for two years. It was supposed to come out last year but got pushed back.
There are a lot of small things in it that you may miss that I've read about. George Carlin plays the VW bus, whose license plate is 51237. That happens to be Carlin's birthdate (5/12/1937). Lightning McQueen's (the racecar) number is 95, the year Toy Story came out. The tire brands on the cars are Lightyears, another play on Toy Story.
There's plenty more, but at the expense of sounding like a bigger geek, I'll stop. The stuff can be found online, anyway.

Enough to make me want to skip this one, but I think ill take the girlfriend anyway.
im no fan of his but he played Tow Mater fantastically. almost doesnt even sound like him.
i love the part at the drive-in where theyre watching all the other pixar movies but the characters are all cars. i almost died laughing when the piggy bank from toy story was a car!
i did happen to notice that the vw's license plate was positioned so it looked like a little hippie goatee.

I saw it last night the Schumi scene made my night! It was brief but awesome! I read a while back that he did it for free and even agreed fo fly out to Miami to do all the voice, he also said took him a lot of tried to get rid of the german accent, which he did well. For those who dont know either, he's fluent in German, Engligh and Italian (off course)

Wife and I went to it Friday, got in for half price. The local theatre had a small carshow with local gearheads displaying their cars in front of the theatre for the openning night. We went in my Datsun and were given half price tickets, two free popcorn and a free drink. We loved the movie, it's definately a must see.

Anyone know if this is indeed the last Disney - Pixar flick? I've heard they went seperate ways and this was under contract before they split...
