I see Germany going pretty far. But England didnt really impress me in the first match. Look out for Brazil, Czech Republic and Argentina. Boy would it be great if Mexico or the USA took it all!

Well, as much as I would like to see the US take advantage of this opportunity I believe that it will have to wait. The embarassment that they called a game today would have to be drastically turned upside down. The loss is the worst of the tournament yet, and we are supposed to be one of the top half teams! Also, if they do end up getting enough points to move on, they will most likely face Brazil in the next round...its a VERY tough road ahead. Anyways, as far as the Mexico/Iran game goes, a win is a win yes, but, I would also agree that Iran beat themselves. I dont believe it was as much of a conditioning factor as it was that they just fell apart as a team. I was very impressed with them otherwise but was not surprised with the result.

After seeing the first match with the US I don't hold out much for for the US. Maybe Mexico can do something, I hope. I am really throwing it in with England and Germany. Would be great to see England get it. Listen to the song "Three Lions" and you'll know England's history.
