Mexico whooped on Iran 3-1.
i hardly call that a whooping - yeah the score was 3-1 but for 75 min it was a 50/50 tie. The iranians just got lazy and tired and mexico had a really scrappy goal for its second. The last goal was a good one- but agian because of the lazy defenders.
Mexico did not beat them - they were allowed to win it.
And before any of you complain - there IS a difference!

Outlasting your competitors in soccer is HUGE part of the game. Mexico did that. Not to mention they did that without their top forward the last half.
I watched the match, the Iranians couldn't even get the ball past half field most of the second half. Mexico pressured them into losing the ball A LOT. How was Mexico allowed to win?
Don't knock the win because of tired defenders, etc.

Even if the Mexicans were allowed to win it doesn't matter. A win is a win!

Mexico will prolly get their group but not much after that. My four teams are USA, Mexico, England, and Germany. I am certain Germany and England are the only ones that are going to make it anywhere. Germany might do something this year but I am sure England will choke

It's called CONDITIONING. The Mexican players were well conditioned for playing a full game. The Iranians ran out of steam & couldn't keep up.
Must be that jumbly-wumbly thing happening again.
