I hadn't seen the auction. It looks more like a supercharger than a turbo charger. A turbo charger is usually powered by the exhaust.

I wonder how it would affect the computer and sensors. It would probably change the Manifold air pressure and the output from the MAP sensor.

The question is though, where is the air coming from? I don't think that side of the engine bay gets as much air as the other side, unless there is hidden modifications done that you don't see.

Thomas Knight Supercharger has been thoroughly discussed in the forced induction forum

If my link does not work do a search for Thomas Knight in the Forced Induction forum......

Link didn't work...but!

Does that setup relocate the alternator? Or am I missing something that the alternator is used for the "turbo". Because just the relocation of the alternator would be nice considering on the v6 it is near the ground/snow/water/road salt/pita spot. And that is a much better spot for repairs/replacement then stock location.

None of those pics match! The actual mounted pics look like they were stolen and added to the alternator/blower pics. The mounted pics are of the real s/c (which more info can be found in the F.I. section), which as you can see is nowhere near the alternator!!! Nor does it have the alternator next to it!!! The The Thomas Knight s/c does not relocate the alt. It does have some pullies next to it to change the drive ratio, which the ebay seller is hoping you think is the alt. (Im guessing).

I smell a scam!!! Someone should notify T.K.
