I think this was a combination of:
1) The Ball joint not being seated properly
2) not cleaning off all of the Penetrating lubicant from the back of the knuckle
3) The shock wasn't lined up correctly (it stuck out away from the car more than it should have, but I got it into the knouckle originaly inspite of that)
