So how do you usually detail your car, when, and what exactly do you use?
Me personally, I usually wash my car about once a month with some store bought cleaner. I used to use palmolive on my parents cars as a kid, but I just can't see that as being very good for it
. Followed then by a nice coat of Zymol wax. Tires get dressing, and the inside gets leather clenaer and conditioner (Every once in a while), and armor-all to clean the rest of the stuff. Got a clay bar for those specs of paint on my car that aren't silver
, and used it to remove the thick layer of cacked dirt on my car after 8 months of it sitting!
I now swear by the clay bar, it owns you all!
I'll usually wash it on a saturday afternoon (I hate Sundays), particularly if it is sunny outside (Me pasty skin needs it). takes me about four hours to do everything (I take my time) so when I am almost finished the sun has already set. Then I'm ready to hit the town in my saucy car! And I always have my $20 Classic boombox blasting either trance or pink floyd for the whole time.
To the dismay of people I know I am not very talkative at all while washing my car, guess I'm just concentrating
