All I have to say before I let this one sail out to sea is that I have no pitty for those who complain about the poor resale value of thier SVT's or about loosing thier shirts on the car when many others are the ones are the ones contributing to it. Yes it is what it is, but you also make it what it is.
As for just being a fancy ford contour....it's true, but the same could be said about the Lightning, SVT Focus etc (allbeit the contur had a more humble beginning). They all have to start somewhere but carrying that perception will not allow it to ever become more than that.
