If you know how to fix them, what to look for, and know what upgrades to do the cars are awesome. That's why CEGers usually keep buying them because we have learned the ways of the force. Hell look at the car I paid 2k for and the mods that were on it. It needed new tires, control arms, sunroof motor motor and a bunch of little stuff you can find at the junk yard. The car has 119k on it now but that doesn't scare me. I'll throw another motor in it when the time comes.

Exactly the reason I just can't leave CSVT's alone and go for something else. I don't think I will find another car that compares in power, styling and features for the price. I'm now very familiar with them so I can fix w/e needs to be done when it happens. I mean the 2000 I just got was only $2k with 73k miles. After the 3L swap is done, it will be an awesome car that no other car will compare to for the price. The purpose of buying it was to replace our 93 Mustang GT, which I just don't know enough about to repair myself, nor do I have the time to sit down and research. I'd rather go with a car I already know for alot less money.
