I drove 350 miles to get mine and Ray drove it ~600 miles to get it there. So yeah, you do have to travel to get a deal, but it's worth it. Best places to look are the classifieds on here and ebay.

My '65 is like that.. I probably couldn't get 4000 for the truck together, but could easily surpass that and then some, parting it out.
The odds of someone liking EVERY SINGLE mod done to the car, the mileage, the history, and the condition are slim. but SOMEONE will like the motor, someone else that door, etc. Its just a fact of life.. You can get over it, accept what you can get, or you can hold on to it and wait it out for the best offer of a lifetime.
why do you think Swazo is parting out his car instead of selling it alltogether? Make way more money that way.

The price is crazy!!!
I also can not find a local CSVT around $3k or $4k. I wish I had an SVT who cares if its a "Fancy contour" its still an SVT! Hopefully someday I will get my hands on one! I drive my 4 cylinder just dreaming of getting an SVT. I believe the people that let them go will regret it sooner or later.

That asking price is nuts. I paid $12,000 for mine 3 years ago and it had 23,700 on it then.

I agree it is nuts...and like I said it it much more than I was asking. Thier problem is that they are not even listing it as a 3L with all the goodies no one else has with the exception of that motor.

nobody knows who did the work on your car...or how reliable it is. I guess it's a 3.0?? if you paid someone to do the swap for you, you're never going to get that back. Still, anyone from the CEG looking at a car with motor work like that is going to be a bit leary and not pay a high price for it...probably not even as much as an SVT with a stock motor, because noone can vouch for the work done except for you.

no offense meant but that spoiler is hideous and ruins the look of that car... as far as finding a CSVT within your budget just keep looking, they are out there... I currently own 2 - bought the first one with 62k for 1300 and the second with 137k for 2800. I got sick of bickering with the man about when and what days a week he can borrow mine so I we bought another one and we both couldn't be happier... I love driving either of those cars.
