That's actually not a restored plane, it's a reproduction. A company in Texas is manufacturing the ME-262 again, a whole 5 of them, with modern GE engines in place of the horribly unreliable Jumo models. It's using the same engine that's found in the T-38 trainers used by the military today. Aside from that, and a couple landing gear changes, the plane is exactly as it would have been rolling off the Messerchmitt line in 1945, right down to a continuation of the appropriate serial numbers.
