Im building up a 3L for my Cougar and had a question on oil pans, pick-up and trays. The 3L motor is a 02 Sable. I will be using no oiling parts from my 2.5L so please dont say just use them.
Does my 3L have the newest pick-up and tray??? Which after hours of searching is YL8E Windage Tray and YL8E Pickup RIGHT? If not whats the newest one?
Now what pan do i need? I know the 5L8E oil pan comes with the pan, gasket & all hardware but does it bolt up to my 02 Sable 3L??
I have been hours of searching like an good motor builder should but my head is going to EXPLODE b/c i keep reading the same thing but doesnt hit me as right. THANK YOU
