So everything that I have read about fuel pressure at idle and and it rising at WOT is for return style cars only?
I have quickly run out of things to check, double check, upgrade, and/or replace. I have gathered that 30psi is definatly too low. I have one remaining thought of my own on this issue. The fuel pressure sender (i think) is after the schrader valve and before the fuel rail. It has the red VAC line plugged into the bottom of it and an electrical connector to the top. Could this be the source of my low pressure problem? Do they commonly go bad?
*sigh* Someday this car will go fast.

No futher suggestions?
Any help from those with experience. I have all but eliminated that fuel pressure sender (??) seing as it is after the schrader valve I am getting my reading from.
Anyone ever do a voltage test on their fuel pump? If so, do you know what voltage it should be getting at idle?

I'm not really familiar with the returnLESS system so I have refrained from helping. However, if you suspect a fuel issue then it isn't too hard to pull up the rear seat, knock off the retaining ring on the fuel pump/sender assembly and lift it out of the tank. YOu can then inspect the sock at the bottom for restriction. If the pump is otherwise operating correctly but low pressure, and you changed the fuel filter, then that is what I'd look at. If while you are there you don't like it you can do the easy mod of popping in the FocusSVT pump. Easy.
If you are worried about the voltages you should be able to get a printout now from someone with the PRPack for the fuel pump tables. Then correlate that with voltage at load and start testing. To me that would be the more difficult route then just slapping in a new pump or at least checking the old one out. Good luck.

Unfortunately Tom the voltages on the returnless system write themselves. They can be edited but the ECU will rewrite them. Stupid I know but that is what I was told. Demon would be a great asset on this thread.

The filter is brand new and the pump is brand new focus svt. I cleaned everthing inside and around the bucket really well when it was all out. The only part I reused was the old sock. The sock that came with the focus assembly would not fit into the contour bucket so I cleaned the old sock really well and put it back in. I really doubt that it would be causeing the -10psi issue but at this point I am willing to try anything again to get it straightened out.

Did you pull the disc in the bottom of the tank. Don't think it's your issue. Just throwing that out there. You can throw it back if you'd like.

Thats weird, but good to know. Maybe they are controlling fuel available/delivery by load calculations. Now that I think of it, it will help them get more out of a standard injector across a range of engines. Meaning low power engines can use the same injectors as higher power engines just by varying the pressure as well as the duty cycle. Makes it easier to stock fewer types of injectors.

I did toss that disk, as stazi suggested, in an a$$hole neighbors backyard. Well, I am waiting for ADC to re-email me the base tunes...and then I will flash back to stock and take a pressure reading...gotta try it. After that, out comes the shotgun.

Keith from ADC got me some tunes today, but with the wrong file extension so I cannot load them onto my xcal, one more day to wait for that test.
In his e-mail though he suggested replacing the fuel pressure sensor that the vac line and a wire harness connect into. It is on the fuel line directly before the schrader valve. I cannot find this as an individual part anywhere. Has anyone replaced this before or would you have to replace the entire rail?

Knowing how Ford operates, probably the entire rail ... Call Bill Jenkins ... he has never steared me wrong on parts issues.
