Thats weird, but good to know.
Maybe they are controlling fuel available/delivery by load calculations.
Now that I think of it, it will help them get more out of a standard injector across a range of engines. Meaning low power engines can use the same injectors as higher power engines just by varying the pressure as well as the duty cycle. Makes it easier to stock fewer types of injectors.
