Usualy we hook a handheld gauge up and run the line out the back of the hood, then tape the gauge to the windsheild were you can see it, but not blocking your view. Than take it for a spin.
It sure does suck working out bugs, especialy if you can't tell if there in the tune, or something mechanical.

Well, since I nuked the files off of my Xcal i am afraid to flash back to stock just to check the fuel pressure. Seeing as I SHOULD run something bigger anyway I will be changing the fuel filter and installing a FSVT pump on Saturday. This may seem like a foolish question but fuel pressure should still be ~45 at idle even with the FSVT pump, correct?

Update: Well, I am now pretty confident that the error is in my base tune from ADC. I just replaced the stock fuel pump with a FSVT pump and changed the fuel filter. Fuel pressure at idle is still chillin right at around 30psi. Sooooo....any other suggestions outside of getting a proper tune?

Not likely that Keith would screw with fuel pressure. You need to go out of your way to change it. Unless the software changed again since I saw it.

If its not in the tune where else should I look? As you can see from above I have covered the major bases.
Also when I revved the engine up with the gauge on it, the pressure would not rise above 40psi, hell, it only reached like 38 and I was revving to approx 5.5k

Fuel pressure doesn't rise on a returnless like a return car. You command a fuel pressure and that is what it is.
