I want to see the GT's times, and then I want them to show each car's price too. Then I'll make a judgement.

Ahh, yes, the "Cody Coyote".....

It was a Manta Montage kit car. VW chassis with a Chev 350, if memory serves. They changed it after a few years to a Delorean chassis so Brian Keith could get in and out of the car more easily.

The nickname "Skid" Mark McCormick doesn't sound so cool now.

As for the Ultima, I like it. There is a guy that has been in the SCC Ultimate Street Car Challenge a few time with one running a BMW V12. Nice car.

What I think is so amazing about that video is how undramatic that run seemed. It didn't even look like the car got going that fast.

There were a couple of those GT-R's at the 1 lap events this year. Not sure which engine combos they were each running, but I know one was a SBC. I'd like to see a new 454 LSx small block with the new LS7 style heads (both from World Products) make it into one.

I'd like to see the times a Veyron would put down.

0-60 mph in 2.46 seconds
0-125 mph in 7.3 seconds
0-250 mph in 55 seconds
250-0 mph in 10 seconds

400mm carbon ceramic rotors with, as far as I've read, no fade even after reapeated 300kph-0 stops...
Source for ^^^

Should be interesting to see what kinds of track times these things set in the next few months as the owners become accustomed to the cars and track them more.

I don't think that the Veyron would come close. It's a very big, heavy car, engineered around a design and a stated top speed goal. It weighs 4300 pounds, and according to C&D, takes six seconds to get to 100 mph from a standing start. Apples and oranges, really.

Is that a K & N filter? I think it is.

See proof right there -- the right K & N filter will give you mad hp and acceleration!

It put down a quicker 0-60 time, I can't find a 0-100, and I can't find a 100-0 time either. But if it'll pull off 250-0 in 10 seconds, I don't imagine the 100-0 time will be too long. I think the Veyron, despite being heavy, would put down a surprising time if someone put one up for testing.
