I've been so busy detailing other people's cars this spring that I just recently had time to give my car the royal treatment (although the wax that was on there only saw the elements about 10 times from November to March). The process included all Meguiars products: NXT wash, clay bar w/ Quick Detailer, NXT Speed Detailer, Speed Glaze (#80), Synthetic Sealant (#21), Hi Tech Yellow Wax (#26), NXT Glass Cleaner, NXT Metal Polish, and finally All Season Dressing (ASD) on trim and tires.

I've always liked pictures taken in parking garages, so I tried it out. I wasn't happy w/ the lighting conditions (bright sun outside and flourecent lights on inside) but I did get some nice pics:

Yea, in anthracite they would look like 10th wheels.

They are a major PITA! Luckily I don't let them get too dirty so they usually wash up nice w/ soap and water. I take them off about every month or 2 to give them the Q-tip treatment.

Car looks so sweet, I really wish my tour looked as nice as yours does. Maybe in a couple of months with your help it will. I cannot wait to be out there in a couple of months. It must take a long time to get the car looking that good!

Took about 9 hours, just for the exterior! Next on my list is the interior, which of course isn't really in need of a detail, but you know

Can't wait to give your new 'Tour the MC's Clean Machines treatment!

Looks like glass!

Love the rims. What I have noticed is if youstay on top of cleaning the car its alot easier that letting it go and trying to get it back to show room shine.

Show room shine? I like to think of my car being better than the day it rolled off of the showroom (actually, off of the truck, it was special ordered and only spent one day at the dealer while they "prepped" it). You are right though, it is 100x easier keeping a clean car looking nice. Although, making a "rough" car look nice is the fun part of being a detailer!
