My mom tried to send some stuff to my dad before she joined him over there via UPS and it got sent back. She managed to get some stuff sent via USPS however.
If you've been using UPS, Fedex you may want to try USPS. Also, I see quite a few DHL vans over there!

Your grandma was really nice too! They really dont get paid that much at all. Lear provides a driver to my dad to get him to work and such, and they pay him quite a bit more then the average person makes.
This last trip, I managed to make 100 US dollars last the whole time. Thats with gifts, and food and beer included!
