You're really missing out. And trust me the 'chinese' food you eat here is not true chinese food, just american chinese food.
these sumbitches can cook! I had some of the best pork in my life over there.
And off topic.... its amazing what having employees who take pride in their work will do for a place; their Mcdonalds and KFC's are.... magnificent. The mcdonalds is the same as ours but everything is always fresh, and service rocks. The KFC is delicious and also a different recipe. they only serve little wingding type things (think BWW). and sides come in little shot sized containers with mashedpotatoes and gravy together...mmmmmm

Only in the poverty stricken villages in the outskirts, Barge. What family you visiting in China? And chinese food here is nothing like overseas, unless you know the places around DTE and Chinatowns. If you still don't like it, then we don't like you either. "No wanksters in hea... you go now!!"

Chang, my parents and brother are over there in Pudong for 2 (more) years, for My dads work w/ Lear. Are you familiar with shanghai chang? I kind of miss being over there. With the HUGE workforce they have you litterally dont have to do anything they have people to do everything for you when you go to a shop. Originally posted by xchang:

One of the reasons I posted the pictures I did is because I dont think alot of people realized how developed china is. Of course this is only one city, and there are still the super rural areas. But keep in mind this one city has 13 million people in it!

They have quite a few schools there. I spent 3 months at East China Normal University studying the women, enjoying the fine food, sampling the nightlife, and even learning a little Chinese. Oh, and the 'official' population is closer to 17 million, and believe to be as high as 21 with the floating population. That's a lot of people. If your parents lived in Pudong, you really had no use, but did you ride the Maglev at all? 431km/hr is screaming!
