Double Check That You Secondary Link Rod Hasn't Fallen Out Of The Linkage. Those Little White Plastic "pop-fittings" See A Lot Of Heat And Disintegrate. If That Is Indeed The Problem All The Pieces Can Be Had Through Ford For Around 20 Greenbacks.

Is The CEL On For Any Codes? If So, Get The Code Pulled And We Can Go From There. Auto Zone Is Free For This Service. Just Be Sure To Write The Actual Code Down And Don't Listen To Anything The $7.00/Hr. Employee Tells You.

You probably have gunnked secondary plates.. last time you rebuilt the UIM/LIM?

running at the correction limit probably caked on that crap, and now you have a non-operational IMRC.

Double check your IMRC bushing.. copper rod, and cabling..

As a resort, remove the IMRC cable from the secondaries (the hinged spring loaded connection on the LIM) and rev the car via the TB to see if the cable retracts with no resistance.. If so.. Clean your UIM/LIM by removeing it and rebuilding it.

If no movement is found, then look in to repairing, or replacing your IMRC (as long as you can verify that you have a correct voltage signal AT the IMRC, too..)
