Get a petronix distributer upgrade and replace the POS innards of the OEM, it will make your life so much easier and for about $70 it's well worth it. That..... and a carb to supply ze fuel Be cautious of the gas tank! My '64 Impala has the original tank and it is f%&^ing nasty! Lots of crap that'd clog the fuel filter. Atleast syphon out the old gas and add new, it'll make life much easier. An engine that old, you might want to do the diesel fuel trick  BTW, very cool Linc

and i agree with Swazo, Pertronics is the way to go, i have one in my 69 caddy, its is great.
and it looks like you have a carb, so rebuild the sucker and throw it on.
