Alright... I didn't take the time to sit there and explain to you (which I didn't think I needed to) why I was angry.
I spent 6 years in the military, including a tour at the Pentagon, protecting anyone that needed it. I saw the corruption, the hacking, and the political failures on a daily basis. I am incredibly upset that the electoral system is failing, and that our military future is, in one way or another, in the hands of the next president (who, presumably, can be picked according to political pull, and not votes... but when is that any different than any OTHER situation?)
This is not the issue. The issue is that this is not now, nor has it ever been, a "let's be upset about politics, together" forum. It may be "common interests" and there MAY BE a ton of people on this forum that agree with you.. but to post it on here as "IT WAS RIGGED.. IT WAS STOLEN!!" so adamently, not presenting it as "hey... anyone find any merit in this? Anyone here agree with this, like I do?" That's like.. uh... flamebaiting those who don't agree, huh?
But I didn't bring that up... I said.. there are plenty of other places that you can get people to afree with you.. or voice that they DO agree with you, on another forum.
Oh.. and please.. don't try to tell me how much I care about our system.
Edit: If you are truly as upset with this new information as you try to say you are, instead of saying "Bush isn't really president" (which he is.. regardless), try bringing up the information in a manner that you can CHANGE IN THE FUTURE, instead of ypping about what already happened. And, no.. I wasn't upset... now I am.

Don't forget all the other evil things that have been proven time and again by caltour & his buddies. GW hates the illegal immigrants too. Naw, I take that back, he likes them. They taste just like chicken!
And of course the war is all about oil. But I'm not complaining. I just love payin' $1 a gallon for premium because of all the cheap oil we're pumpin' out of Iraq.
Then there's global warming - even though the data for the last 10 years shows an overall cooling trend, that's just a glitch. Oh, and the cooling that was taking place in the 60s & 70s, that doesn't count either. Bad thermometers or sup'm. Anyway, it's GWs fault 'cause he shoulda done somethin' about it & didn't.

No. Many publications have already reported extensively on almost all of these facts. I posted the Rolling Stone article because it neatly sums up the elements of the story. And it is written for everyone, not just for policy wonks.

Your satire is not far from the truth. The mainstream media is owned by very wealthy corporations, which are owned and run mainly by Bush supporters. As a result, very little gets reported that the business and political elite don't want us to know.
The press today has all but abandoned investigative journalism. This is no secret; it has been widely discussed in critical journals. Let me know if you want more information on this.
I remember 35-40 years ago when big media pursued investigations into just about everything. The castration of investigative journalism is a relatively new phenomenon, and I'm not sure our democracy will survive it.
