This article explains just exactly how Republican operatives stole the 2004 election:
Robert Kennedy explains how Republican operatives stole the election by shredding democrats' voter registration forms, refusing to provide ballots to voters in Democratic strongholds, illegally failing to count ballots from pro-Kerry precincts, and rigging computerized voting machines.

Remember how the exit polls showed Kerry way ahead on election day, and then Bush inexplicably won? It was stolen, my friends. Stolen.

You wait until 80% through his 2 TERM time to bring this up, now? Go find another forum, man.. keep this trash elsewhere.

Considering a handful of the citations in the article were from 2006, and the article itself was just published on 6/1/06, to suggest posting/commenting on this article is untimely ("wait until 80% through his 2 TERM time") does not seem realistic.

Certainly, Ray, you're NOT suggesting it's OK to cheat provided you don't get caught right away.

This topic may not be your cup of tea, but to dismiss it as untimely does not hold water. We all have elections coming up soon, and this is a current issue in its implications for the 2006 and the following 2008 elections. That's serious stuff rather than "stupid."

That there are 29% of the population still supporting Bush means there are plenty of people that will vehemently take issue with this article and its author. So that's still likely to happen here too. Even without Davo.

You feel this topic does not belong in a car site. Fine. Say that. But you should have stopped there.

Why do these crazy liberal democrats keep bashing President Bush when he cannot be re-elected? What harm can he do to their party? Are they still that much afraid of him? You'd think they would be concentrating their efforts on getting Hilary elected. As far as the 29% approval rating, much of that has to do with the Republican base not agreeing with the move to the middle by Bush and not standing his ground on conservative issues.

Wait a minute, Ray. I see you're angry. But aren't you angry about the wrong thing?

Now that two years have passed, and the facts have accumulated, we now have overwhelming evidence that Republicans illegally threw the election. They shredded ballots, ignored election laws, changed votes on ballots, and prevented legitimate voters from voting. As the article shows, Bush clearly would have lost if not for this fraud.

But you're not angry about that. Oh, no. None of that bothers you at all. You're not angry that our electoral system is failing right before our eyes, or that a critical national election can be manipulated by a few dozen well-placed, well-funded political hacks. No. You're angry just because I am raising these facts for all to see.

C'mon, you guys. You're attacking me for raising this issue, but none of you have given ANY factual reasons for your opinions. Surely you must have some logical reasons.

Tell me how the facts I raised are wrong. Show me how my analysis is wrong. Don't just blurt out an opinion; any ninny can do that. Show me you critical thinking skills! Support your opinion with facts and logical reasoning. Make me proud of our educational system!

now i know you're just plain crazy!

oh, and just in reference to the "wah wah wah, get over it! focus on the next election" comments..

if malicious, illegal activities actually did take place (and im not saying they did) wouldnt it be wise to address them?? otherwise, if ignored, isnt likely that they'll just happen again?
