i have the same problem as you and tourige. mine is probably 2" off like yours. the guy that put mine on tried moving the hanger but since the rubber moves it just went back to where it wanted to be. is cutting and rewelding the only option? or is it just cheaper and easier than bending the pipes after they split? (did they do the cutting while it was on the car or did you have to take it off yourself and bring it in?) the exhaust sounds awesome but looks horrid when its uneven. fixing this would make me very happy (im not worry about spending a few $'s btw)

This is a little late but if it helps at after I cracked my oil pan 2 years ago (don't ask) I put some JB Weld on 2 inch crack on the inside after cleaning it up and havn't had any trouble since. Put on about 20,000 miles and thats driving in -30 in MN and 95+ in Florida this summer, so its seen its share of shrinking and expanding.

I am perfectly happy with mine. I think most people are happy with their system, it's just that you usually only hear about the bad ones because those are the owners who need to fix something. And in all honesty, something as small as a hanger needing to be bent over an inch, or a pipe fitting too loose inside another are hardly worth noting as they are literally 5 minute fixes.

My exhaust setup didnt fit to my liking, went to a shop and got it aligned. It cost $40, I sent Trubendz an email about it. Making a long story short, I sent a scanned copy of the receipt and get $40 off another part from Trubendz. I still haven't needed another part though.

$10-20 a weld with 5 welds is a complete rip off. If you brought it to me, I would have welded the thing for you for $30, assuming you took it off your car. Like what was said above, take it to a shop that isnt ran by a bunch of crooks. As far as JB weld. No more cutting corners with your car. There is a difference between not having enough, then waiting to do something, and just plain going ghetto style to save a buck.
