I use a combination of water, simple green, castrol super clean, and some dish soap.

Don't ask how i came up tith that, but it works. Works great on the door jams and hinges too.




That concotion won't touch the RUST thathat the naval jelly removes - yes, that's rust, not brakes pad dust - hence the orange colour.....the rust comes from the abraded rotor material - no soap will touch that stuff as rust is porous and attaches to the paint on the wheel. Naval Jelly is OK to use so long as you don't leave it on for days at a time.
