yeah, theyhad some kits and the best part is the wall of individual blocks and stuff, you can buy individual pieces!

is it floating, or just sitting in really shallow water.

and that thing is huge! The guy in the pic really gives it some scale, and it's not even the whole ship in the pic!

i thnk it is just sitting in the water.
with that amount of legos and thefact that it looks like the hull isn't sealed it would never float.

Was in the lego store in Chicago off Michigan Ave this last weekend and they had a life-size R2D2 as well as a Darth Vader. Was extremely cool!

I still need to make it to LegoLand (theme park) outside San Diego.

Legos are water-tight (within reason of course) when you put them together and, being plastic, they float rather readily. The thing would float no doubt. The problem is that it would be too bouyant and would flip over in a heartbeat. That's what the purpose of the large base it's sitting on is, I'm sure -- it acts as a keel to keep the thing from flipping over.
