Hello everyone,

I know it is pretty far away, but I wanted to give an extra long heads up on our next track day event. It will take place August 9th, a Friday (Like the last one). Cost will still be $100 per car. We will be on the Big 2.5 mile track this time, so for those that have never been to the big track, now is your chance.

Closer to late May, I will come back and post a link to a webpage I am creating, dedicated to this event. It will have the days schedule, payment info, a list of those who have paid, directions, etc.

If I am lucky, I will schedule a combo Saturday & Sunday event for 2003. I know that is even further away, but I think it would be VERY cool to have the track for an entire weekend. Price on that event will be closer to $250 per car, which is a steal by anyones standards!!!!

How far in advance do we have to pay? I think I want to do this. Is this all out racing or are there rules?

There are most definitely rules. For one, it really isnt racing, just hot lapping. No contact whatsoever, if you go off track, come in to the pit for inspection, etc. All of this will be covered.

A deposit of $50 must be received by July 1st to ink your name on the list. Many people just paid the full $100 by the cutoff date so they didnt have to worry about paying that day. We will have a limit of 60 cars and run in groups of 20 cars. The track is VERY wide open and 20 cars on a 2.5 mile track leaves lots of room for passing.

Seriously though I would love to say that I would participate, but it all depends on how well my car is running (Or if it's running at all). If I have bought my ricer, err I mean racer civic, then I will participate, and promptly beat the shizz out of all you guys. THE BRITISH RULE!!!

Racer Civic? How are you gonna do all that before Aug. You still haven't done anything to the tour yet. Except for stereo stuff you a stocker.

I always save my money for some reason. I have been spending a lot of money on the tour, but that was cause the whore kept breaking down. If it didn't break down so god damn much I'd have the pimpest tour in this region! I still gots some moeny left in my "Racing account" and I got a job interview on Sunday, if I can wake up for it My civic will own you all, well one day it will :rolleyes:

Josh, I got a special fist sized rock for your car if you don't let me pass, muuuuuaaaa ha ha ha ha . I can make your door match your back bumper :p

How much is it to watch? Or are there even innocent bystanders?

Totally free to watch. The person at the front gate might try to charge you a $10 admission fee, but just tell them you are participating in the private track rental and they will let you in.
