I have read that BUT regular freon can also ignite under the right situation. Also can't be any more dangerous than your full gas tank during an accident. It looks as though RED TEK uses a similar formula.
All this 'Duracool could explode/catch fire' seems to be more of a scare tactic by the makers of freon as opposed to a real safety concern.
